The BS2482 timber scaffold board is the most commonly used scaffolding board in the UK market, offering an excellent balance of economy and flexibility. Often referred to as scaffolding planks or scaffold battens within the industry, these boards feature a nominal thickness of 1 ½’’ (38mm), an overall width of 9’’ (225mm), and a weight of approximately 1.46 kg per foot (4.8 kg/m), depending on moisture content.
 
Our standard stock is designed to meet the industry-standard 1.2m support length. However, other grades and support lengths are available upon request. All our BS2482 timber boards are either visually (V) or machine (M) graded and fully comply with British standards and the latest TG20 NASC scaffolding guidelines.
 
Each timber board is fitted with steel end bands, which can be branded upon request to deter theft. We also offer the option of nail plates, proven to enhance durability and extend the board’s lifespan.
